FC7125 is a high-efficiency, high-density, discrete-component linear regulator designed for mid-to-high power applications. It allows a maximum output voltage of up to 3.3V, an input voltage range of 1.2V to 6V, and has a switching frequency of 500 KHz, with an operating current of up to 5A. It utilizes an NMOSFET and an internal current-sensing circuit, with thermal shutdown and over-temperature protection. The FM7125 also allows the output current to be adjusted through the use of an external resistor, and has very low quiescent current consumption. It is designed to operate with high-efficiency and high-density in a very small package, making it ideal for space-restricted applications.
