The adaptor which is contained within a metal enclosure is either USB powered or externally powered (depends on the number of ports) and can supply an output of +5VDC up to 80mA on the 5mm terminal block connectors (1- and 2-port models) or 30mA on the Pin 9 of DB9 connectors. Indicator LEDs provide functional status. The USB2-H-100X-M family have been tested to be compliant with both FCC Part 15 Subpart B and European EMC Directive.
