BASU The Crouzet BASU-MAD is an addressable fire alarm system developed by Crouzet Technologies. It provides an advanced level of safety and security in both residential and commercial environments. The BASU-MAD system includes an intelligent control system which is capable of supervising up to 256 detectors, 32 sounders and 64 ancillary devices (such as heat and smoke detectors, manual call-points, and other ancillary fire alarm devices). The system is also capable of carrying out advanced alarm monitoring functions such as false alarm management and detection of malicious tampering. It also provides a wide range of reporting and logging capabilities. The BASU-MAD is designed for easy installation, commissioning and integration with third party systems. It is also compatible with Crouzet’s range of fire detection products.
