SW-3 Curtis

Curtis SW-3 is a computerized motor controller designed for use in electric vehicles, including golf carts, utility vehicles, and street legal vehicles. It uses modern software-controlled electronic controls for optimizing the performance of the vehicle. The major components of the Curtis SW-3 controller include the following: • Printed Circuit Board (PCB) – This houses the microprocessor, control board, and other components needed for the control system. • Input/Output (I/O) Connectors – These allow various sensors and actuators to be connected to the controller unit. • High-Performance Regulator – This is used to regulate the output of the electronic motor controller. • Electronic Throttle Control – This lets the operator control the speed and direction of the vehicle using an accelerator pedal. • Current, Voltage and Frequency (CVF) Sensors – These sensors help the controller monitor and adjust the current, voltage and frequency of the electrical motor. • Control Panel – This is used to monitor and adjust the various parameters of the SW-3 controller.
