PMOD (TOF) TIME OF FLIGHT SENSOR Digilent

The PMOD (TOF) TIME OF FLIGHT SENSOR with Dev.kit: Xilinx; I2C; ISL29501; Pmod Socket; extension board manufactured by Digilent is a development board that enables the detection of objects using Time-of-Flight (TOF) sensing. It has a Xilinx FPGA, an I2C port for adding additional peripherals and communications, an ISL29501 ranging sensor, and a Pmod socket for connecting to compatible Digilent extension boards. The board can be connected directly to a Xilinx FPGA development platform, such as the Avnet Spartan-6 LX150T or Digilent Arty A7. It allows the user to measure distances from objects in the environment and detect motion with real-time precision. The ISL29501 ranging sensor is connected via I/O pins of the Xilinx FPGA, allowing for an extended range of up to 30 meters. It also has an additional I2C port for connecting additional peripherals and communications. The extension board provided with the TOF sensor adds the capability to capture multiple frames of data, enabling high precision detection of objects. Finally, the Pmod socket allows the user to connect any compatible Digilent extension boards to the TOF sensor.
