The 1N4947 is a 10 Watt, 400V axial leaded, power diode made by Diodes Incorporated. It has a high surge current capability and is designed for use in applications such as high frequency switching power supplies, H-bridges, and AC-DC rectification. The 1N4947 offers low reverse leakage current, fast switching, and a low forward voltage drop. It has a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 400V, a maximum DC reverse current of 1.0µA at 400V, and a forward voltage drop of 1.1V max at 1.0A.
