The DIO7296WL4 is an integrated power management IC (PMIC) with four power distribution switches in a wafer level chip-scale package (WLCSP-4). It features independent power distribution switches with active off support, improved surge protection, protection against overcurrent and overvoltage, and low quiescent current. This lightweight and low-profile device is designed for use in mobile applications such as tablets, smartphones, and smartwatches. The DIO7296WL4 is RoHS compliant and provides a fully-protected power management solution for 10-volt supply systems while dissipating very little heat. The device features two buck and two boost voltage regulators, and has a current capability of up to 10 A. Its power switches are capable of driving up to 10V at 20 mA. It also supports various device operating modes, such as active, sleep, and deep-sleep. The DIO7296WL4’s improved surge protection circuit and programmable overcurrent and overvoltage protection provide reliable protection against sudden load surges and device damage from out-of-spec voltages.
