Additional Infomation About Product

ElectronicsThe DB32 diac is a two-terminal, bidirectional, trigger-type diode designed for use in general-purpose AC switching circuits. The device is manufactured by Diotec Electronics and is cylindrical in shape, measuring 2.2 mm in diameter and 4.8 mm in length. It is encapsulated in a black DO-35 package with an operating voltage of 32-36V and a rated current of 2A. The diac is used to conduct current in both directions when the voltage at its two terminals is above a certain breakover value. This makes it suitable for a range of AC switching applications, such as triggering thyristors and triacs, phase control, and timer circuits.
