The LDF4 part of Distelkamp's model is an application that enables users to create, manage, and maintain logical data models (LDMs). It focuses on the logical aspects of data modeling, such as entity-relationship modeling, as well as database design. LDF4 also provides tools for visualizing and manipulating the model, such as diagramming, navigation, and manipulation of model elements. Additionally, LDF4 allows users to store and manage database content in the form of a Domain Data Model (DDM). Finally, LDF4 provides an SQL code generator that enables users to generate SQL code from the logical data model.
