1A3AHH-1 is an Electro-Absorption Modulated Laser (EML) component, developed by Neophotonics Corporation. It is a type of high-speed optical communication component that is used in coherent optical transmission and optical transport networks. The EML component combines electro-absorption and intensity modulation to achieve distances of up to 40km at 40Gbps, and up to 80km at 100Gbps.
