The ALS-PDIC243-3C Ambient Light Sensor is a Through-hole RoHS-compliant component manufactured by Everlight. It is a photodiode-type device with an integrated amplifier and current mirror circuit designed for use in darkroom applications. It is constructed of a molded black thermoplastic material and has a detection range of 0.003 ~ 63,000 lux. The output of the device is 0 ~ 10VDC. The ALS-PDIC243-3C is highly stable and reliable, and is suitable for applications such as controlling LCD backlight intensity, auto-device brightness dimming, and night-light switching applications.
