The EL357N(C)(TA)-G Transistor Output Optocoupler manufactured by Everlight is a single channel optocoupler that uses an infrared LED optically coupled to a phototransistor. The optocoupler offers a high-speed pulse absorption/separation function, which provides 2500V rms input to output isolation. The optocoupler is designed to interface electrical signals between two different circuitry/voltage levels without electrical interferences and noise entering the other circuitry. The optocoupler has a minimum CTR of 80% to 500% at IF=20mA. It is compatible with safety standards UL1577 and IEC/EN/UL60747-5-5. In addition, it is RoHS compliant and comes in a plug-in package with pins 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 denoting the Anode, Cathode, VCE, VB, and Emitter, respectively.
