ITR9907 Everlight

The ITR9907 with Optical Switches, Reflective, Phototransistor Output Opto Interrupter is a device manufactured by Everlight Electronics. It is an opto-interrupter that uses reflective optical switching technology to detect objects passing in front of it and to emit a corresponding electrical signal. This device is commonly used in a variety of applications, such as automatic door openers, vending machines, motor control systems, industrial robots, and gaming machines. It consists of two parts; an infrared LED and a phototransistor. The LED emits an infrared light beam which is reflected off an object in front of the optical sensor. This light is then detected by the phototransistor which generates an electrical signal to indicate the presence of the object. The ITR9907 is designed to be compact and can be used in space-constrained application. Its swivel head design allows it to be precisely aimed for optimal results.
