PYQ2898 is an infrared sensor manufactured by Excelitas Technologies Corp., a global provider of high-performance illumination and sensing solutions. The PYQ2898 is an uncooled, single-element, ferroelectric infrared detector that is capable of detecting and measuring infrared radiation from 8 to 14 µm. It is designed for use in medical, industrial and military applications, and features a high thermal sensitivity, low noise, and small package size. The sensor is also capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C.
