The SMBJ78A with SMB(DO-214AA) TVS ROHS is an unidirectional Transient voltage suppressor manufactured by FOSAN. It is designed for use in switching power supplies circuit boards, mainly to provide transient overvoltage protection from external sources. It can be used to control and suppress transient surge overvoltage with its peak pulse power rating of 600W. The device features low clamping voltage, RoHS compliant and can be used in a wide operating temperature range from -55 to +150 degrees Celsius.
