The GS1500M22-100 is a single-chip Wi-Fi radio module from Gainspan. It features an 802.11b/g 2.4GHz radio, a 40MHz external crystal, a connector for an external antenna and a U.FL connector for an external Wi-Fi antenna. It supports a wide range of Wi-Fi security options including WEP, TKIP, and AES. It also has extended range, a low transmit power and a low receiver sensitivity to improve overall transmission range and performance. This module is ideal for low power Wi-Fi applications requiring extended range and reliable connection. It is ideal for home automation, smart metering, and tracking and asset management applications.
