GS2200MIZ

The GS2200MIZ is a Wi-Fi system-on-chip (SoC) from Gainspan for low-power Internet of Things (IoT) applications. It combines a powerful 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor with a 802.11b/g/n radio and on-chip power amplifier. It is designed to be a highly integrated solution with integrated memory and peripheral support, Wi-Fi certified security and network stacks, power-saving modes, and an on-chip low power controller. The low power controller allows the SoC to enter very low power states such as sleep, hibernate, and deep sleep modes. It also contains integrated support for Bluetooth and an on-chip ARM9 processor for the IC host interface. It is the flagship Wi-Fi module in Gainspan’s product portfolio and is optimized for location-based services, home automation, and smart energy applications.
