WAB-GW-GS2011MIZ is a part of Gainspan's GS2011miz Wi-Fi-Enabled Smart Appliance module. It is designed to enable Wi-Fi connectivity for all appliances in the home. The module features an industry-standard 2.4GHz IEEE 802.11b/g/n radio, a powerful application processor, and a robust network stack. It is designed for easy integration with non-Wi-Fi enabled appliances with its simple UART (Serial) interface. The module is self-contained and is capable of direct connection to the user interface, other home automation systems, and cloud services. The module also features an easy-to-use Application Programming Interface (API) which can be used to quickly deploy the Wi-Fi application on any appliance. The module is also compliant with the latest ZigBee Smart Energy v1.0 profile.
