It has a centered flat-pack outline and is available in a T0-3 form. It is produced by General Transistor Corporation and has a Pd max of 4W. The maximum ratings for the 2N4891 are as follows: collector-emitter voltage of 600V, collector-base voltage of 600V, emitter-base voltage of 6V, collector current up to 3A, DC current gain of 500, and power dissipation of 4W. It is used in high power applications such as motor control, amplifiers, and audio circuits.
