Additional Infomation About Product

The DS1302N with Real-time Clocks DIP-8 RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) is a highly efficient memory device manufactured by HGSEMI. It features a minimal standby current of just 0.2µA (microamperes) and has a low power consumption that helps to extend battery life in embedded applications. The device includes an on-chip oscillator and full binary-coded decimal (BCD) clock and calendar. It has a slow-rise time of 1.5 seconds when the VCC is applied and a shutdown time of less than 1 second. The device is housed in a DIP-8 (dual in-line package) form factor and is compliant with EU’s RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances). This makes it suitable for various environmental applications and automotive industries. The device's onboard data can be read and written using a 3-wire SPI bus with power saving design, which allows for low power application with longer battery life.
