Additional Infomation About Product

The HGSEMI PCF8563N Real-time Clock DIP-8 RoHS is a highly integrated 8-pin device, enabling very small packages that can be used in many applications. It has an on-chip 32.768 crude crystal resonator that is used to drive an interrupt signal at intervals of one second. It features very low power consumption and a wide operating temperature range up to +85°C. The integrated data-holding capacitor ensures low power operation, regardless of whether it is in standby or active mode. The PCF8563N has an 8-bit programmable output register that can be used as a timer or alarm. It also has automatic leap year compensation, four independent alarms and four programmable outputs. The auto-oscillator circuit ensures high accuracy even without the use of a battery backup. The battery backup allows the clock to keep time even in the event of power failure. The PCF8563N is RoHS compliant, highly reliable and cost effective.
