Additional Infomation About Product

The PCF8574AM/TR is an I/O Expander with SOP-16-150mil manufactured by HGSEMI. It is a RoHS compliant part which is used to increase the number of inputs/outputs (I/O) of any electronic system. It is a general purpose parallel I/O expander that works as an I2C slave device. The device has 8 independently programmable general purpose I/O pins and can be used to interface with PLC's, LCD's, sensors and buttons. It requires a very simple two-wire I2C bus to be connected and can supply power to the connected device. It features a maximum voltage drop of 0.3V, low-power consumption, high noise immunity and high EMI tolerance. It is also available in different packages like SOP-16 and SOT-23-6 and can be used in devices operating in temperatures from -40°C to 85°C.
