HI7001 is a LED driver SOP8 RoHS package manufactured by Hichips. It is specifically designed to drive LEDs for mobile and tablet applications. It features a fixed frequency, constant current driving mode and per-channel dimming control with low ripple current and low power dissipation characteristics. The device includes an integrated short circuit protection function, a built-in temperature protection circuit, and a soft-start circuit. It supports multiple interface configurations for single, double and triple LEDs with different forward voltage levels, allowing for flexible configuring and high efficiency. HI7001 also has RoHS features, which includes no hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, and cadmium and complies with RoHS directives.
