integrated Holonic control
The D2000 part of highly-integrated holonic control is a distributed control system framework that enables the development of complex and distributed control systems in manufacturing and industrial settings. This system uses a hierarchical control structure, referred to as holons in holonics, that is comprised of multiple levels, or layers. Each layer is made up of smaller groups of autonomous, cooperating agents, referred to as nodes, which are responsible for specific tasks and act as a single procedural unit. These nodes are then connected and coordinated through a set of message passing channels known as the D2000 network.
The D2000 network enables the nodes to communicate and synchronize the execution of the distributed control tasks. In this way, the nodes can collaborate to build a more complex and integrated control system than could be achieved with any individual node. Furthermore, the D2000 network also functions as a platform for process automation, enabling the development of automated control systems that are capable of performing complex and intricate tasks.
