available and fault tolerant systems
M46 is a system architecture concept for designing highly available and fault tolerant systems for mission-critical applications. It is an acronym for Modular Redundant Dual-node Cluster. The concept is based on redundant instances of hardware, software and data within a system architecture. It is designed to provide increased reliability and fault-tolerance by minimizing single points of failure and enabling rapid failover between redundant systems in the event of a hardware, software or data failure. The architecture supports both horizontal and vertical scaling, allowing for growth based on demand. It also supports replication of both hardware and software, enabling additional levels of fault-tolerance.
