The HT16C22 with LCD Drivers LQFP-48 RoHS is a low voltage (3V~5.5V), low power HD44780 compatible LCD controller and driver IC (integrated circuit) manufactured by Holtek. It is composed of 144 pins spread across four 8x12mm footprints, and is RoHS compliant. This device supports up to 2048 characters and offers a variety of functions, including display RAM, display data RAM, and clock/data shift registers. It is ideal for applications such as liquid crystal display (LCD) backlight control, LCD power supply control, and direct display transfer control. This chip is designed to drive up to 128 segments (or max 8 LCD modules) and up to four common electrodes. Additionally, it includes onboard power-saving and low voltages standby/wake up modes.
