The HT7660 is a high efficiency, step down, switching controller with an integrated power switch and an over-temperature protection circuit. It is packaged in the small SOIC-8 (150 mil) format, and is compliant with the RoHS Directive. The device operates in current mode control, and provides integrated cycle-by-cycle current limit, over voltage protection, and thermal shut down. The device features a highly accurate over temperature cut-off voltage of 110°C. In addition, the device has a low standby current consumption (1 µA typ.). The HT7660 is suitable for a wide variety of buck converter system applications, and provides the highest system performance with low component count.
