The RFM22B-433-S1 is a highly integrated, low-cost 2.4GHz Radio Transceiver module from Hope Microelectronics. It is designed for use in cost sensitive, low power wireless systems such as remote controls and home automation applications. This part is ideally suited for applications where low data rate, long range links with reliability and security are required.
The RFM22B-433-S1 module is based on a low cost, tiny form factor, direct conversion, quadrature Demodulator and closely matched channelization filter. This allows the unit to deliver excellent receiver performance while consuming very low power. The RFM22B-433-S1 also has integrated data encryption capabilities and can support up to 10 channels with up to 400Kb/s data rate. It has a +10dBm output power, selectable transmit power level of 0, -10, -20, -30 and -40dBm, and Sensitivity level of -91dBm at 0.1%BER. The operating voltage requirement is +3V DC. This part is available in 3x2mm LGA package, with a built-in protocol stack for ease of use.
