HMC479MP86ETR is a single-chip low-noise amplifier from Hittite Microwave Corporation. It is a wideband GaAs MMIC amplifier housed in a small 4mm x 4mm plastic surface mount package. It provides up to 14dB of gain from DC to 6 GHz with a low noise figure of 0.85 dB at 3 GHz. The DC power supply for the device is +2.9 V and +3.3 V. The part is suitable for a wide range of applications including wireless infrastructure and military communications.
