HTC-3-TPE is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) manufactured by HT Hi Tech Polymers Oy, a Finnish company. It is composed of a combination of polypropylene and elastomeric polymers. The product is used in a wide range of automotive, consumer and industrial product applications, including medical devices, electrical insulation, and consumer products. The material provides good balance between processing and end-uses properties, in addition to superior wear and scratch resistance properties. It is also characterized with excellent impact and compression set resistance, good electrical insulation properties, thermal stability, and good compatibility with many different chemicals. It is well suited for a broad spectrum of uses, ranging from injection and blow molding of consumer products to extrusion and blow-molding of consumer goods and medical equipment.
