Huco is an annual event held at the University of California, Santa Barbara. It is a unique event that brings together students and faculty from all disciplines to engage and learn from each other in exciting and creative ways. The 2020 Huco event is scheduled for October 24th and will feature a variety of activities, speakers, and interactive experiences to explore the cultural, historical, and environmental challenges of our times. Topics discussed will include environmental change and resilience, technology and innovation, health and wellness, and the impacts of development on local and global communities. The event will feature speakers from a variety of fields, including academics, entrepreneurs, and social innovators. Participates will also have the opportunity to explore various interactive exhibits and participate in workshops to learn about new technologies and their potential applications. There will also be opportunities for networking and fun, with activities such as a surf simulator and a dance night.
