The IP179NI is an Ethernet IC MQFN-88 RoHS manufactured by IC Plus. It is a low-power, high-performance PCIe-to-Ethernet bridge providing features such as Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability, Link Aggregation (LAG), and an on-chip CPU for configuring and managing the device. It supports 10/100/1000 Mbps Layer 2/3 packet processing and supports both 10Base-T and 100Base-T modes. The IP179NI has two integrated PHYs (Physical Layer Transceivers) and support auto-negotiation. The chip is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant, meaning it does not contain the typically hazardous materials found in many electronic parts.
