The 34-015 is a tone and probe kit from Ideal Industries. It is a compact, with a tone generator, cable locator, and an inductive amplifier. It is capable of locating wire and cable as well as identifying and tracing insulated electrical wires. It has a range of up to 10 miles and is designed to work with a variety of wire and cable types including telephone, CATV, security, speaker, and power. The tone generator has ten selectable tones, while the cable locator has both active and passive modes for easy and accurate detecting. The inductive amplifier is able to identify the individual wires in a bundle and the volume level can be adjusted for each wire.
