Additional Infomation About Product

® Energy Chain System The EALM-08 system is part of Igus®'s Energy Chain System, which is an enclosed system of tracks, chains, and sliders that guide and protect cables and hoses from damage and abrasion. The EALM-08 consists of 8 mm pitch carrier links, made from high quality thermoplastic Elastollan, reinforced with galvanized steel cables. Its integrated gliding elements, which are made from high molecular weight polyethylene (PEU), guarantee an extremely low coefficient of dynamic friction. Due to its design, the system offers very high dynamic performance, which in turn reduces mechanical stress on the cables and hoses inside. The EALM-08 also offers considerable design flexibility, allowing users to customize the chain with different lengths and track configurations.
