GELMK parts are energy-referencing, low-friction tensile load-bearing components. They are designed for high torsional flexibility, low creep, and excellent resistance to water, oils, and extreme temperatures. The M20 part is composed of a thermoplastic elastomer containing carbon fibers for reinforcement and a stainless steel tension cord for added strength. The material allows for low friction, low elasticity, and high tensile strength, withstanding pressures of up to 250N/mm2. Additionally, the part provides chemical and environmental resistance, as well as reduced friction, making it suitable for a variety of applications, such as electric-mobility or robotics.
