ASM32PR ILME

A ASM32PR is part of the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA). The ASM32PR assessment is the high school level performance assessment for the ILMEA. It is an ensemble performance of three different musical selections that evaluates the student's ensemble playing, reading, and musical performance. Each participating ensemble may be comprised of two or more students who must perform a total of three musical selections: two classical selections and one pop selection chosen by the ILMEA. The groups are evaluated by a qualified panel of professional musicians who assess their performance and provide a rating for each ensemble. The rating is determined by the judges on a 1-5 scale, with 5 being superior and 1 being inadequate. The ASM32PR assessment provides a great opportunity for students to evaluate their own musical abilities and receive feedback from a variety of professional musicians. The ASM32PR performance assessment experience is a great way for high school music students to apply their classroom studies to a real-world performance opportunity.
