The 74ALVCH162245PA is a transceiver IC from Integrated Device Technology designed to support two low-voltage, non-inverting channels and is housed in a TSSOP-48 package. The device has an operating voltage of 2.7V to 3.6V and is RoHS-compliant. It is capable of sending and receiving signals between two nodes, allowing for bi-directional communication. Each channel can operate up to a data rate of 21 Mbps using either of the 6-bit or 8-bit data formats. Each channel also features a fail-safe input for receiving silence or logic high in case of signal failure. The device also includes internal current limit protection, as well as thermal shutdown protection. Additionally, the device is characterized for operation from -40°C to 85°C.
