The PLB190S is an thyristor module produced by IXYS semiconductor company for applications such as motor control and switching power supplies. It is rated for operation up to 190A RMS, 600V VDRM and 900V VDSM. The device features a positive temperature coefficient of current, a bidirectional load capability, and a fast turn-on speed. It is capable of handling high operating temperatures and is resistant to short circuits and overloads. The PLB190S comes with a standard SCR output, making it suitable for both AC and DC applications.
