The SMCJ45A is an unidirectional surface-mount transient voltage suppressor (TVS) with a DO-214AB form factor that is RoHS compliant. It is manufactured by Jingdao and is designed for protecting sensitive electronic components from over voltage, ESD, and other transient voltage events. The SMCJ45A has a reverse working voltage range of 5.0V to 170V and a clamping voltage of 28.3V at a time current of 1.0A. It also features a very low dynamic resistance of 0.3Ohm @ 8A.
