The JKS 5-2R230 with Gas Discharge Tubes - GDTs RoHS is a type of secondary overvoltage protection device from the Jinkaisheng Electronic range. This two-stage lightning protection device is designed to protect electrical systems and powered devices from damage due to high energy transients such as lightning strikes. The GDTs RoHS technology of the JKS 5-2R230 enables a fast breakdown to high current levels with low let-through voltage, while its variably adjustable voltage thresholds provide the utmost level of protection. This device is fully compliant with the RoHS directive, which requires components and products to be free of substances hazardous to human health and the environment.
