The JK60-020 with PTC resettable fuses through hole, with a pin diameter of 5.1mm and being RoHS compliant is a type of electronic part which offers an external short-circuit protection solution. It is manufactured by Jinrui Electronic Materials. This PTC resettable fuse consists of a PTC element, thermistor, switch, and conductive leads. When an overload current or short circuit current appears, the thermistor in the fuse quickly heats up and the switch in the fuse auto breaks, creating a high impedance path which prevents further current flow. After the overload condition has been eliminated, the thermistor cools down and the switch in the fuse auto closed, establishing a low impedance path and allowing the circuit to restore to normal operation. This PTC resettable fuse has a rated voltage of 250V and a rated current of 6A. It also offers a resettable protection against over current and short circuit conditions.
