The Kang Yang BT169 TO-92 TRIACs is a bidirectonal, low-power 3-terminal electronic switch component. It is designed for triggering and retriggering applications and features a TRIACs sensitive gate trigger current of 1mA. It has a maximum on-state RMS current of 800mA, a stand-off voltage of 400V, a peak 1.2kV and a maximum on-state voltage drop of igT 1.3V at 500mA. The BT169 is RoHS Compliant, and is suitable for use with any low-power DC and AC control equipment. It is primarily used in power-line switch, temperature control, lamp dimmers, low power AC switches, and motor speed controls.
