Overvoltage Protector with Bidirectional Blocking and Surge Protection Features Brief Description Wide Input voltage range: 3.0V to +28V The KTS1675A over-voltage protection device features Integrated MOSFET switch 25m typical high current integrated N-Channel MOSFETs with an ultra- 5A Continuous Current low IN to OUT on-resistance of 25m (typical). Low- VP Select pin: over-Voltage threshold trip voltage systems on the output are protected from voltage 13V/23.4V supply faults up to +28V. An internal clamp on the input Fixed 5V Output from VSNS protects the device from surges up to 100V. Fast Over-Voltage response time 100ns An input voltage exceeding the over-voltage threshold Low Quiescent Current: 160A (typ.) causes the internal MOSFETs to turn off, preventing Integrated Protection excessive voltage from damaging downstream devices. Thermal Shutdown Under voltage protection (UVLO) The KTS1675A has a selectable internal fixed OVLO Soft-Start threshold preset to either 13V or 23.4V (typical) and also OUT to IN Reverse Blocking supports reverse bias blocking, preventing any voltage EN, VSNS, WRX and FLAG pins present at OUT pin feeding back into IN when the device is Integrated Surge Protection up to +/-100V in the Off state. Pb-free WLCSP 20-Bump, 0.4mm pitch The KTS1675A also features additional protection -40C to +85C Temperature Range including enhanced ESD and thermal to protect against over-load conditions. Applications The device is available in a RoHS and Green compliant 20-bump, 0.4mm pitch, 2.22mm x 1.82mm WLCSP.
