Canyon
KC-79-136 is a 4.4-mile trail located in Kings Canyon National Park in California. It is a moderate to difficult trail that takes hikers through a scenic forest of pines, cedars, and junipers. The trail starts from a parking lot at the Canyon Vista Resort area and leads hikers through rolling meadows and up a steady elevation gain with several switchbacks before reaching a dead-end at a high point with a spectacular view of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Along the way, hikers can enjoy panoramic views of adjacent peaks and can even spot wildlife such as coyotes, birds, and squirrels.
