The Kings 89-04 era is a period spanning from the 1989-90 season to the 2003-04 season in the history of the Sacramento Kings basketball team. This era included eight years in the NBA playoffs, four division titles, and one trip to the Western Conference Finals in 2002. During this time, the team was led by some of the greatest players in Sacramento Kings history, including Mitch Richmond, Chris Webber, Vlade Divac, Peja Stojakovic and Mike Bibby. During this period, the Kings also sported some of the most unique, offbeat and exciting styles of play in the league. The team also brought an up-tempo, 3-point shooting style to the NBA, inspiring many other teams to embrace the 3-point shot more frequently.
