The CV-200SB is a wheel tester used as part of the Korea Track Inspection System (KSS). It is designed to measure wheel profile defects by measuring wheel profiles with a laser beam. It uses laser profiling technology to detect wheel profile defects, including wheel rim fractures, wheel tread downturn, wheel flange thickness, wheel set twist, wheel side eccentricity, wheel flatness, wheel wear, wheel wheel cracks, wheel wheel deficiency, wheel flange wear and wheel head wear. The equipment can also be used to assess wheel turn mechanism wear, wheel jaws wear and wheel profile balance. It is equipped with self-diagnostic functions for detecting error sources and monitoring system performance. It is also equipped with an emergency stop device to prevent injury in the case of an emergency.
