The MOC3062 with Triac Optocouplers DIP-6 RoHS from Lite-On is an integrated circuit (IC) designed for use in inductive or resistive loads. It contains a Light Emitting Diode (LED) and a TRIAC, which controls AC power output to the load with a wide range of potential locations. It's built with direct optical coupling between the input and output, providing excellent isolation capabilities, along with high noise immunity and circuit design flexibility. The LED provides optical isolation up to 5kV, and can be triggered on and off up to 500kHz, allowing for high-speed operation. The TRIAC is rated for up to 4A at 230V, and features fast switching speeds of up to 50kHz. It's available in a 6-pin dual in-line package (DIP) form factor designed to fit industry-standard DIP sockets, and is RoHS compliant.
