Additional Infomation About Product

The Littelfuse K1400E70 is a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) auto-reset device designed to protect automotive systems and components from overloads and momentary overcurrents. It is a surface-mount device that is designed to detect current flow through its internal temperature sensing circuit and when a specific temperature is reached, the device will enter a highly resistive 'tripped' state. The K1400E70 can automatically reset back to its original condition when the current through the device has been reduced to a safe level. It also features an over-temperature protection capability which helps to protect against damage due to excessive heat.
