The K1500E70 part is a DC Protection Thyristor manufactured by Littelfuse. It is a low cost, high performance, high temperature thyristor protected against high temperature, overload, transient and reverse energy flow. The device features a low voltage triggering level, fast switching time and an adjustable reverse voltage breakdown voltage. The K1500E70 has a standard TTL, SCR or TRIAC output, and an overvoltage protection of up to 1000 volts. Furthermore, the part can operate up to 200A at 1500V, and the increase in temperature that occurs during the operation cycle is compensated for by a built-in over temperature shut-off.
