Additional Infomation About Product

The SMAJ250CA is a surface-mount bidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode manufactured by Littelfuse. It is designed to protect sensitive components and equipments from electrical overstresses caused by external electrostatic discharges, surges, or other transients. The device is a chip with a cathode at the center and two symmetrical anodes at the sides, providing bi-directional protection for circuits. The SMAJ250CA is rated at 250 watts peak pulse power, has a peak reverse voltage of 400 Volts (VRWM) and can withstand an off-state breakdown voltage of 5.0 volts. It also has a very fast response time of < 1.0 nanosecond for excellent protection from transients.
